Following a meeting with Gunners chiefs, social media channel Arsenal Fan TV has been made to change their name and branding.
It’s thought the move from Arsenal is to protect the club’s reputation and global image.
Arsenal Fan TV, which will now be formally known as AFTV, has become one of the most globally recognised fanbase channels in the world.
The use of the copyrighted ‘Arsenal’ for audio and visual recordings was is believed to negatively impacting Arsenal.
The club reportedly sent a cease and desist letter to Arsenal Fan TV in an attempt to protect the club’s branding.
AFTV currently operates at around 820k subscribers and boasts over 487.5m views worldwide.
The channel founded by Gooner Robbie Lyle presents to regulars Troopz, DT, Claude and Ty.
