According to Bundesliga expert Raphael Honigstein, Mesut Ozil is keen to remain an Arsenal player unless he feels he’s being pushed out by the club.

After signing a new 3350,000-a-week deal a little less than a year ago, Ozil has recently become a bit-part player under Unai Emery.

The Spaniard has frequently omitted the 30 year-old from his starting XI after unconvincing performances this season.

Ozil has since been linked with a move away from the Emirates, but Honigstein doesn’t think that will happen unless Emery furthers the German’s Arsenal misery.

Emery has found it tough getting the best out of Ozil

“I think it’s too early to say that his time at Arsenal is coming to an end,” Honigstein told the Transfer Talk podcast (via Express).
