Arsenal are expected to revive their interest in Malcom this summer.
The Bordeaux winger had been tipped for a move to the Emirates in January.
At one stage, the Gunners appeared close to signing the Brazilian after holding talks with the player’s representatives.However no official bid was made and Malcom stayed put.
Now the Standard claim the Gunners will monitor the youngster’s progress throughout the rest of the campaign with and a view to signing him in the summer.
Since moving to Bordeaux, Malcom has established himself as one of the leading forward’s in French football. He has racked up 80 appearances and scored 18 goals for the French side over the past two years.
Having conceded Alexis Sanchez, Theo Walcott and Olivier Giroud in Janaury, Arsenal rectified their attacking options by signing Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
