With Arsene Wenger adopting a back three, the Gunners boss remains in the market for a centre-half to bolster his defensive options. Jonny Evans has been a target for some time and with West Brom currently struggling for form the Gunners may resume their interest in him.
Evans has 18 months left on his deal at West Brom and will not extend his stay, so the Baggies could look to cash in now.
Manchester City are also interested in Evans and the player is believed to favour a move to the Etihad.
