Arsenal should make a move on Bournemouth’s Ryan Fraser this summer.
That’s the view of ESPN pundit and former Premier League goalkeeper Shaka Hislop.
Fraser has been in fine form for Bournemouth this season, with the 25-year-old Scot having scored seven goals and made 14 assists in the Premier League.
In the Premier League, Fraser has the second-most assists of any player behind Chelsea superstar Eden Hazard. He has six more than Alexandre Lacazette, Arsenal’s leading top-flight creator with eight assists.
It remains to be seen whether Arsenal are keen on the midfielder this summer as Emery assesses his options ahead of the summer transfer window.
The Gunners have lacked penetration from their wingers this season and Hislop thinks Fraser is worth the risk.
Hislop told ESPN FC: “I don’t think he’d cost an awful lot.
“I don’t think he’d be in that £40m bracket.
“I think Arsenal can get him at a reasonable price.
“When you consider the company he’s in, only Eden Hazard has more assists than Fraser in the Premier League this season.
“I’d take a chance on him at the right price.”
