Ahead of tonight’s match versus Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena in the UEFA Champions League Quarter-Final 2nd leg, I’ve looked at our forum, Arsenal Talk, to see what supporters are saying ahead of the game.

You can have your say on tonight’s match on the forum here. Tonight’s referee is Danny Makkelie and the kick-off is at 20:00, live on TNT Sports 2.

clrnc: “If we lose I think we are done for the season. The same thing as most predicted last year when we lost to Southampton we mentally checked out after.

Liverpool did the same as well. Once they got thrashed by Atalanta their confidence was shooked and it affected them badly against Palace. We have seen that same story many times under Wenger as well when we lose a European tie and then proceed to lose domestic ones.

We have to win, we can do this. Our players need to give it their last big shot, this is our final.”

SA Gunner (in reply to the above): “Well said.

This is the game to determine the fate of our season. We may not catch City again, but we can leave ourselves a chance to create history in the CL.

It starts with a strong performance at Bayern. We are more than capable of delivering a performance here, something that Bayern won’t be able to deal with.”

GoonerJay24: “There is a chance here but we’ll need to play with discipline by keeping the distances tight between the lines and attack them in transition. I would start with Tomiyasu, Partey and Martinelli.

Bayern are favourites being the home team and we’re too mentally fragile after facing some setbacks. Whenever the game doesn’t go to how Arteta planned, these players tend to crumble and self-destruct. It’s been like this for a while now.

Hopefully Wednesday’s different and we get a historic result.”
