Ahead of Monday night’s match versus Sheffield United at Bramall Lane in the Premier League, I’ve taken a look at our forum, Arsenal Talk, to see what supporters are saying ahead of the game. You can have your say on Monday night’s match on the forum here. The match is live on Sky Sports Main Event, Premier League and Ultra HDR at 20:00 and the referee is Samuel Barrott.

Dennis_Bergkamp_10: “I’m optimistic about this round. Liverpool’s squad is decimated, they play Nottingham Forest away. Manchester City have a derby against Man Utd, who will be looking to get a result after the Fulham disasterclass. Otherwise, the top four for them is over.

Meanwhile, we get 8 days rest and a game vs. arguably the worst side in the league.”

asukru: “Got to continue our style of coming out quickly and going for the jugular right away. Don’t care who the opponent is – don’t take them lightly and get the job done! As someone else mentioned City have United who will want to get one over them and Pool go to Forest who are decent. Just do our job and let the other stuff unfold as it does. One game at a time boys! I believe!”

Taylor Gang Gunners: “One of my favourite games was when we kicked these out of the FA Cup en route to winning it. Ceballos, who I still think is a quality player, got the winner.

We should beat these guys comfortably. They are terrible. Disorganised, mega low on confidence and of course, a distinct lack of quality.

If we play at 70% of our capabilities this should be comfortable. I’m hoping Jesus can get some much-needed minutes and maybe the return to the match day squad of Zinny and Partey.”

sakalacaxhaka: “Same starting 11 as against Newcastle, unless there are any niggles, it should be comfortable if we take it seriously, we don’t have a midweek game so no excuses for potentially taking our eye off the ball

I would not be starting any player who’s returning from injury against these lot, they’ve had some pretty back tackles coming in lately, even fighting amongst themselves so their discipline is all over the place

Give those returning 15-20 minutes at the end of the game, as we’ve got some big games coming up, but I wouldn’t start them.”
