Granit Xhaka is a doubt for Arsenal’s trip to Watford on Saturday.

The Switzerland midfielder was forced to limp off the field in their victory against Gibraltar over the weekend. The Gunners’ stand in captain was substituted in the second half of the match after being in visible discomfort.

Xhaka will now return to Arsenal to start preparations for the Premier League encounter against Watford at Vicarage Road on Sunday, but it’s not certain he will be available.

Xhaka was heavily criticised by pundits and Arsenal supporters following the North London Derby which saw him concede a sloppy penalty in the first-half.

Arsenal rescued a draw from 2-0 down, but were still left disappointed with the point.

Emery’s side now travel to Watford this weekend. The Hornets have taken just one point from their opening four matches and sacked Javi Gracia over the weekend.

Gooners, who plays in the centre of the park at Vicarage Road? Let us know in the comments…
