Arsenal are likely to be without both Sokratis Papastathopolous and Henrikh Mkhitaryan for Wednesday’s trip to Brenford.

Sokratis limped off with a knee proble after half-an-hour against Everton over the weekend. Meanwhile Mkhitaryan was injured in the Europa League win over Vorskla.

The Gunners go into the game looking to make it six successive wins in all competitions and they could have two senior players back in contention to make the squad.

Sead Kolasinac, who has been out with a knee problem since pre-season, has now returned to full training – as has Carl Jenkinson, who suffered an ankle injury earlier in the summer.

Jenkinson hasn’t played for Arsenal since 2016/17, but could be given an opportunity to impress under new manager Unai Emery.

Long-term absentees Laurent Koscielny (Achilles) and Ainsley Maitland-Niles (broken leg) are aiming to resume training in November.

Gooners, who do you want to see feature against Brentford? Let us know in the comments…
