Inter Milan have emerged as front runners to sign Alexis Sanchez.

The Italian club have shown interest in the Arsenal forward and according to reports in Italy are now ready to invest £128 million in new players (via Metro).

Sanchez’s contract situation at Arsenal has been highly documented. The Chilean has just 18 months before his current deal expires and it is uncertain whether the forward will commit his future to the club.

Arsenal’s talisman is among a list of world class talents on Inter’s Chinese owners, Suning Holdings Group radar. The club are also chasing Paris Saint-Germain duo Marco Verratti and Marquinhos.

Inter currently sit 7th in Serie A, 12 points behind runaway leaders Juventus and without achieving Champions League football it will be difficult to attract their targets.

It remains to be seen what option Sanchez will choose. The 28 year-old is reportedly holding out for around £200,000, but has been offered around £380,000 from China.
