According to reports, Inter Milan are leading the race to sign Arsenal forward Theo Walcott.

The Englishman has been a bit-part player for Arsene Wenger’s side this season having fallen down the pecking order at the club.

Inter are joined by Everton and West Ham United who also have their eyes on the England international. Walcott has just under two years remaining on his contract, but according to Calciomercato (via Sports Mole), Inter are ready to make an approach.

The Italian giants have also been linked with a January move for Mesut Ozil, with the German set to quit the club at the end of the season.

Despite being accused of failing to live up to his potential, Walcott has netted 107 goals and provided 74 assists since arriving in North London in 2006 – a respectable record.

The former Southampton man scored a brace for Arsenal in their Europa League triumph away at BATE Borisov last week, but he’s only managed 47 minutes of Premier League action so far this season.
