Arsenal have made waves in the market this summer with the additions of Sead Kolasinac and Alexandre Lacazette but there’s been plenty of rumours to suggest that further signings could be made.

Widespread reports earlier in the summer indicated that Arsenal were one of a number of clubs tracking CSKA Moscow and Russian ace Aleksandr Golovin, with the Russian side’s chief confirming Arsenal scouts watched the 21-year-old during the recent Confederations Cup.

The North London side are yet to move though and could face competition on the market, with Chelsea also attributed with an interest, but Metro cites comments made by the youngster that indicate he’d be open to a move to the Premier League.

‘Of course, I will be pleased that such a club [Arsenal] is interested in me. In my opinion, every football player, regardless of their age, wants to play in Europe – I’m not an exception.’

The midfielder is likely to see interest in his services rise further in the next 12 months, particularly if he puts in a starring performance in Russia’s World Cup campaign next summer.
