Freddie Ljungberg saw his Arsenal side held to a draw in his first game in charge as interim head coach.

The Arsenal ‘Invincible’ has replaced Unai Emery for the time being as the club look to appoint a permanent man to move the team forward.

Ljunbgerg recalled Granit Xhaka and Shkodran Mustafi to the starting line up as Arsenal twice came from a goal down to draw with Norwich at Carrow Road.

Meanwhile, Calum Chambers started ahead of Hector Bellerin at right-back. However, Premier League legend Jamie Carragher has demanded the club deploy the 24 year-old at centre-back instead.

“I was a little surprised by the team,” Carragher told Sky Sports. “I think he’s going back to players we know what they are. They are not going to change. David Luiz and Mustafi. We are not talking about young players. Xhaka in the midfield.

Chambers has made 10 Premier League appearances so far this season

“They have been at Arsenal long enough for the supporters and the club to know what they are about – in terms of the club going forward, let’s find about the players you have in the squad.

“Calum Chambers is not a fullback. He struggles there all the time I watch him play. Put him at centre-back. You know Luiz and Mustafi are not the answer. Let’s have a look at Chambers at centre-back. And get Bellerin back at right-back.”

Arsenal’s next game is a home tie with Brighton on Thursday.

Gooners, who would you play at centre-back? Let us know in the comments…
