If reports are correct, Arsenal are eyeing one of three European talents to replace the injured Danny Welbeck.

Welbeck suffered a brutal ankle break a fortnight ago and will likely be out of action for the remainder of the season.

The injury has forced Unai Emery’s hand to recruit in his attack.

It is suggested that either struggling Barca star Ousmane Dembele, Lille winger Nicolas Pepe or Cengiz Under are being lined up by the Gunners.

Under appears to be generating the least gossip. The Gunners’ interest in the Roma forward was present long before Welbeck’s injury, with scouts sent to watch the 21-year-old throughout the season, during which the natural winger has scored three goals and assisted four times in 14 appearances.]

Ünder has represented the U18 and U19 levels of the Turkey national youth football team. He was called up to the Turkey national under-21 football team in 2016, before almost immediately earning a full international cap. Since then the Turk[7]has gone on to reach 10 caps.

Arsenal will have to act fast if they wish to nab the Turkish international, with Manchester City and Tottenham also keeping tabs on the 21-year-old.

If Arsenal had any reservations about making a move for Under, Welbeck’s injury may have just forced their hand, and it’s a move the winger, who has expressed his desire to play in England, would welcome.

Gooners, who would you most like to see arrive at the Emirates? Let us know in the comments…
