Juventus general Giuseppe Marotta is keeping his cards close to chest regarding a move on Jack Wilshere.

Juve have emerged as contenders for the Arsenal star’s signature with his contract due to expire this summer.

Wilshere has always remained adamant that he wants to sign a new deal with the club, however the 26-year-old is understood to have rejected Arsenal’s latest offer, which will have seen him take him a pay cut on his current £110,000 a week deal.

Should the Gunners ace fail to sign a new deal, he has reported interest from AC Milan, Chelsea, Manchester City and Everton.

Jack Wilshere could leave Arsenal this summer.

He’s said to be currently at an impasse with the club and Juve chief Marotta was asked about the possibility of him moving to Juventus.

The Italian confirmed Juve’s main interest is in Liverpool’s Emre Can, but will move onto other targets if that deal is not possible.

“It is well-known that we are concentrating on Emre Can, who will have to give us an answer,” Marotta said, when quizzed on Wilshere. “He will be the first goal if he shows interest. Otherwise, we will have to move to other targets.”
