Arsene Wenger’s future in North London continues to be a major talking point amongst the press and fans alike but the Frenchman has made it clear he intends to keep on managing whatever happens- and he’s set a bold target.

The Telegraph claim Arsene Wenger is eyeing Zinedine Zidane’s position at Real Madrid if he decides to end his spell with Arsenal this summer, although it would be extremely unlikely that the Frenchman would land the top-job.

Zidane was highly-criticised when he first got the job at the Santiago Bernabeu but guided Los Blancos to Champions League glory again last season and currently has his side sitting top of La Liga with a game in hand.

Given Arsene Wenger’s track record in recent years, it’s highly unlikely that Real Madrid would oust Zidane from his position and appoint Wenger- and the report adds that the most likely scenario is Wenger remaining at Arsenal.

Wenger currently has a two-year extension on the table at Arsenal, despite the pressure upon him, and has stated he will make a decision on his future in March or April.

Will Arsene Wenger remain at Arsenal beyond the summer? Have your say with fellow fans on our forum.
