Hector Bellerin and Kieran Tierney returned to action for the Gunners in an Under-23s clash with Wolves on Friday.

Bellerin says he’s back and better than every after returning for Arsenal in an Under-23s match following eight months out injured.

The Gunners defender suffered a serious knee injury against Chelsea in January, but played 62 minutes alongside summer signing Kieran Tierney in a 2-2 draw with Wolves on Friday.

Bellerin later posted on Twitter: “255 days and the day has finally come for me to get back out there. Can’t describe how much I’ve missed this!”

Gooners caught a glimpse of what they can expect from Tierney who is yet to make his Arsenal debut after a hernia operation earlier this year.

The Scottish defender joined Arsenal in a £25m deal from Celtic but has been made to wait to take to the field after undergoing surgery last season.

Both players could be eying their return to the first-team as early as next week, with Arsenal in Carabao Cup action against Nottingham Forest at the Emirates on Tuesday.
