Eddie Nketiah netted a last-gasp equaliser to rescue a point against Preston North End on Tuesday night.
The Arsenal loanee continues to be a hit for Mareclo Bielsa’s side and it’s left Gunners and Leeds United fans all asking the same question on Tuesday night – why is Eddie not starting for the Championship side?
Nketiah hasn’t started a league game for Marcelo Bielsa’s side despite also being in fine form for England u-21’s – he recently netted a hat-trick over the international break,
He came off the bench again on Tuesday night. Arsenal will want their loan star in the starting XI more – and it’s not just former Gunners striker Wright who feels the same way.
Legend Wrighty reacted to the 20 year-old’s latest goal on Twitter and demanded Bielsa “Star him!!!!!”. And the fans have got behind the Arsenal great…
Start him!!!!!

If Patrick Bamford got struck by lightening, his ghost would still start ahead of Eddie.

Damn right start him. Us Leeds fans are getting fed up of Eddie on the bench when a misfiring Bamford wastes chance after chance

I don’t think there’s a Leeds fan who would disagree mate. Bamford with 6-7 shots tonight and hitting good chances out for throw ins. You know it’s time for a change up front.

He has to start. We've got one striker who can't score and has, absolutely no confidence, and another who can't stop scoring! No brainer!
