The Sun quotes Monaco president Vadim Vasilyev as suggesting that Arsenal target Thomas Lemar could quit the club this summer.
The Frenchman has been heavily linked with a move to the Emirates for some time. Arsenal failed in their efforts to sign Lemar last summer with Monaco rejecting a £92m offer.
Now it appears they will have to submit a bid potentially in excess of £100m if they want to secure the player’s services.
Liverpool were also widely attributed with an interest in the France international, but also failed to secure a deal with the French principality side.
The Gunners are expected to make several additions to their squad this summer. Whilst Jack Wilshere and Aaron Ramsey could both quit the club. Wilshere is out of contract at the end of the season, while Ramsey doesn’t appear to be in any rush to commit his future to the club.
