Arsenal shot-stopper has been included in the Germany squad to face France and Netherlands.

Former Gunners Serge Gnabry has also been called up after impressing for Bayern Munich.

Both Leno and Gnabry were not part of the Germany squad that flopped at the World Cup, where Low’s men were surprisingly dumped out in the group stage.

Leno replaces an injured Kevin Trapp to join up with the squad after missing out on Joachim Lowe’s initial selection.

The 26-year-old returns to the Germany fold for the first time since June, prior to being left out of Low’s World Cup squad.

Leno started in Arsenal’s 5-1 demolition of Fulham last weekend. The ‘keeper appears to be finding his feet at the Emirates, but could still make way for the recovering Petr Cech after the international break.
