Arsenal target Nabil Fekir is said to be edging closer to a move to the Emirates.

The Lyon midfielder is being lined up by Arsene Wenger’s side to bolster their attacking options as they prepare for the departures of Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil.

Fekir announced himself on the world stage in 2017 after a remarkable start to the campaign. So far the France international has 11 goals and 4 assists to his name in Ligue 1 as Lyon currently occupy second.

With Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil’s contracts up at the end of the season, new faces are required for the Gunners.

According to the Daily Star, Fekir is a £60m target for Arsenal next summer with talks over a move already underway.

The Lyon captain could craft a deadly partnership with ex-Lyon teammate Alexandre Lacazette at the Emirates.

Fekir’s compatriot has made a terrific start to life in North London – tallying six Premier League goals.
