Arsenal have just been given the green light to pursue a deal for Malcom after his agent revealed the Barcelona star is ready to leave the club.

A year on from the Catalan side hijacking Roma’s deal for the Brazilian, Malcom is looking to end his miserable spell at the Nou Camp.

The winger has failed to make an impression and his hopes are likely to be dented further by the arrival of Antoine Griezmann.

The Gunners are interested in a loan deal for the 22-year-old as an alternative to Wilfried Zaha, with Crystal Palace refusing to budge on their £80m valuation.

Unai Emery’s side do face competition from Everton with boss Marco Silva keeping an eye on developments at the Nou Camp.

The Mirror claim Malcom’s agent has now told the Spanish champions that he wants to leave in search of regular football.

It remains unclear as to whether Barca would be willing to part with the Brazilian as just a loan.
