Manchester United hit back twice to draw with Arsenal, but the Gunners extend their unbeaten run to 20 games.

Unai Emery handed out starts to Aaron Ramsey and Matteo Guendouzi over the out of form Henrikh Mkhitaryan and suspended Granit Xhaka.

And after a controlled start to the game, it was the Gunners who drew first blood – albeit in fortunate circumstances.  Goalkeeper David de Gea made an uncharacteristic error as he failed to deal with Shkodran Mustafi’s tame 26th-minute header, which Ander Herrera could not clear before it crossed the line.

Anthony Martial hit back to equalise

However, Jose Mourinho’s side hit back through Anthony Martial who slotted home his seventh of the season.

Substitute Alexandre Lacazette bundled the ball in to put Arsenal 2-1 up in 68th minute. But Jesse Lingard levelled just a minute later, pouncing on a poor Sead Kolasinac backpass.

Emery’s side earned their point, though will feel it was a game they could have won.

Arsenal face Huddersfield on Saturday.
