Max Allegri has played down reports linking him with a move to Arsenal.

The Italian orchestrated Juventus to another Champions League quarter-final after seeing off Tottenham in midweek.

Allegri has been heavily linked with replacing Arsene Wenger at the end of the season as Arsenal’s hierarchy consider ending the Frenchman’s reign. But when asked if he is preparing for a move to the Premier League, Allegri told Viasport (via Metro): ‘No, because I have a contract until 2020.’

It’s unclear as to whether Arsene Wenger will honour his two-year deal or quit his position at the end of the season.

Allegri has been the mastermind behind Juve’s success since Antonio Conte left the club in 2014. The 50 year-old is yet to relinquish the Serie A title after three triumphs on the spin.

Gooners, is Allegri the right man for the job to replace Arsene Wenger? Let us know in the comments…
