Lee Dixon says he’s concerned about Arsenal’s discipline to pull off Unai Emery’s tactics.

The Gunners lost suffered their second defeat of the season following a 3-2 defeat to Chelsea on Saturday.

Goals from Pedro and Alvaro Marata were cancelled out by Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Alex Iwobi, before Marcus Alonso fired in the winner late on.

Mesut Ozil was substituted by Emery midway through the first-half. The German, who recently shocked the football world by retiring from international football, looked exhausted as he trotted off the Stamford Bridge pitch.

However, Dixon has singled out the playmaker as a key factor in the issue for failing to match the supposed intensity of the Premier League.

The Arsenal legend said on NBC: “Arsenal were still open. That’s the worry for me. Özil plays into that.”

Ozil will be hoping to maintain his starting place when Arsenal host West Ham on Saturday.
