Michael Owen has shared his thoughts in his Metro Sport column on all the weekend action and believes Arsenal will just about edge past Crystal Palace on Sunday. The Gunners welcome former England boss Roy Hodgeson’s Eagles to the Emirates with only three points in mind in order to keep up their top four ambitions.

Arsenal are currently fourth in the table, with just four points separating 3rd place Spurs and Manchester United in 6th.

Former Premier League star Owen has predicted a narrow win for Unai Emery’s side.

‘Arsenal face a very difficult trip to Naples on Thursday, but I feel they will pick up maximum points against Palace and gain an 11th successive home league win on Sunday – a record for the club in top-flight football.

‘Palace have picked up more points on the road (23 of 39) than they have at Selhurst Park so far this term and although they do have pace and power on the break, I feel the Gunners will continue their excellent recent home league run.

Michael’s recommendation: 2-1′
