Mikel Arteta is considering a Sheffield United double transfer raid after being blown away by two of their stars.

Arsenal were held to a draw by the Blades last weekend after Chris Wilder’s side rescued a point in the final minutes of the match.

After impressing the Gunners boss, George Baldock and John Fleck have emerged on Arteta’s radar ahead of the summer transfer window, according to Football Insider.

Fleck, 28, has five goals and two assists from midfield this season, whilst teammate is turning heads with superb displays at right-back.

Arteta eyes double swoop

Both are regulars in Chris Wilder’s side who sit seventh in the Premier League.

Arteta has admitted it “is possible” that the club could do no business before the January 31 deadline.

However, with United chasing European football, it is unlikely that a move would be made for either Fleck or Baldock this month.

The Gunners return to Premier League action tonight against Chelsea. The Stamford Bridge clash is scheduled to begin at 8.15pm.
