Mikel Arteta has been Arsenal boss for little over a month but the Spaniard is still yet to see an upturn in results.
The Gunners have drawn their last four Premier League games with the latest point-a-piece coming at Burnley last weekend.
One man whose continued presence in the starting line-up should seriously now be in question, is Alexandre Lacazette.
The Frenchman is on a baron run of nine games without a goal and is next to ineffective at the moment.
An even more damning statistic is that the striker has now gone 14 hours and 57 minutes without a goal away from home in the Premier League
Former Chelsea striker Tony Cascarino has suggested Lacazette may be sold by Arsenal this summer, in the Times.
He said: “Alexandre Lacazette needs to up his game. The Arsenal man’s poor display stood out. He just does not look as if he is capable of playing the way Mikel Arteta wants. He doesn’t seem to fit the system. Lacazette wants to play purely as a goalscorer. That is not enough.
“He has to up his work rate and do the closing down and running his new coach demands of him. If Lacazette does not realise that soon, he may find he is not an Arsenal player next season. At the moment, he looks short of confidence because he is not fulfilling his role in the team.”
