According to reports, David Moyes could sign Jonny Evans under the nose of Arsenal this summer.
The Gunners have been chasing the West Brom captain since establishing an interest last summer. After failing to get a deal over the line, Arsene Wenger’s side resumed their pursuit in January with a bid thought to be in the region of £12m. It was immediately turned down by Albion, who were looking for a figure nearer £20m.
Now HITC claim the Hammers will attempt to bring the former Manchester United forward on board at the end of the season.
Evans, who lifted the Premier League three times at Old Trafford, has established himself as one of the most reliable central-defenders in the league since leaving United in 2015.
Arsenal did sign Kostas Mavropanos in January, but the Greek is still yet to debut for the first-team.
