Real Madrid are plotting a move for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, reports say.

Aubameyang has just been announced as the new Gunners captain by Unai Emery after the Spaniard stripped Granit Xhaka of the armband.

The prolific striker struck his 50th goal for the club on Saturday, but that wasn’t enough to see off Wolves as the team’s drew 1-1.

Now it appears Aubameyang has been promised Gunners chiefs will consider offers which come their way if he wants to leave next summer, reports in Spain claim.

The lethal finisher arrived for a club record £55m from Borussia Dortmund in 2018 and has been nothing short of sensational for the north Londoners.

Unfortunately, the Gunners look set for another disappointing season and on coruse to miss out on Champions League football.

Reports say Real Madrid are lining up a move for the Gabon international with Zinedine Zidane looking to add firepower to their frontline.

Man City ace Raheem Sterling is also being linked with a move to the Bernabeu.
