Newcastle are ready to offer Danny Welbeck a chance to reignite his club career.
Team Talk have reported on Monday that Rafa Benitez’s side are willing to sign the Arsenal forward this summer.
Welbeck, who is currently on holiday after helping England reach the World Cup semi-finals, struggled to make an impact last season.
In fact, the 27 year-old has scored just 15 goals in his 80 Premier League appearances since signing for Arsenal back in 2014.
The report claims that the England international is not wanted by Gunners boss Unai Emery and that Newcastle will offer him an escape route.
It also states that the Magpies are willing to pay him around £100,000 to join – but it would be a terrible signing by United manager Rafael Benitez.
