Neymar has heaped praise on his former Paris Saint Germain boss Unai Emery.

Emery, who was in charge of PSG when the Brazilian superstar made his way from Barcelona is enjoying a good start to life as Arsenal manager.

Having lost his opening two matches, the Spaniard has seen his side remain unbeaten since August, including an 11 match winning streak.

Neymar is having a special season of his own. The forward is already into double figures for the season as PSG sit top of Ligue 1.

The Brazil captain is preparing for his nation’s international friendly with Uruguay at the Emirates and was asked about Emery’s start at the club.

‘Now it’s easy to say because Arsenal are playing really great football,’ he said (via Metr0). ‘They are coming from a great run in recent matches and everybody knows he’s a really great coach.

‘We know about their quality and I was really happy to work with him because he’s a really hard working guy. ‘He really wanted to coach us and really wanted to study about football.

‘I think he will bring good things for Arsenal, which is really is a really huge and important club here in England. I wish him luck.’

Arsenal have picked up a couple of draws of late which has seen them fall off the pace of the league leaders. Emery’s side have a chance to regain their good form when they travel to Bournemouth on November 25.
