Arsene Wenger’s future remains shrouded in doubt as he enters the final few months of his current deal and the club’s poor form has significantly raised the pressure, with sections of supporters making their thoughts clear during recent games.

Despite that, the general consensus remains that Arsene Wenger will sign a new deal, as The Guardian are one of several outlets reporting that he’ll remain on in North London with another season looking to be on the cards.

Whilst that will likely lead to outcry amongst sections of supporters, it wouldn’t be the end of the world and could end up working out well for all parties. After all, wouldn’t we rather wave goodbye to our greatest ever manager following success?

There’s certainly work to do but with a few tweaks and changes Arsenal can become a force under Wenger’s guidance once again and another year could work rather favourably for the club.
