Reported Arsenal target Ousmane Dembele has been linked with a move away from Barcelona throughout the summer.

The Frenchman endured a difficult first term at the Nou Camp following his club-record £96million move from Borussia Dortmund last summer, but has struggled to make an impact at the Nou Camp.

Dembele played in all three of France’s group stage games at the World Cup in Russia and then in the quarter-final win over Uruguay, but did not get off the bench for the semi-final or the final.

Reports in Spain claimed the wide-man would be sold by the Catalan giants, with Arsenal the suggested suitor.

However, these reports have finally been rubbished by the youngster who updated fans about his future on social media today.

As reported by Marca, Dembele took part in the live broadcast on FM_Guru’s Twitch earlier today and was asked about the interest from Arsenal and if he would be leaving Barcelona this summer.

Dembele is reported as saying: “I’m staying at Barca, I’m ready to play the Super Cup.”

It now seems certain Arsenal have finished their transfer business for the summer.
