Goal are reporting that Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will only stay with Arsenal if he is given a new bumper deal similar to Hector Bellerin.

Last month Bellerin signed a new contract with Arsenal worth £100,000. Oxlade-Chamberlain, whose contract expires in 18 months, is suggested to be chasing a similar deal.

Despite significant improvements on the pitch, the Englishman has been in and out of the Arsenal team this season, trading the left-wing spot with Alex Iwobi.

The 23 year-old has netted six times and provided five assists in all competitions so far and Arsene Wenger has expressed his desire to hang on to him.

Oxlade-Chamberlain signed for The Gunners back in the summer of 2011 from Southampton. It’s been a stop start career in North London so far and Arsenal fans are still waiting for the winger to fulfil his undoubted talent.

One club that won’t be signing the winger in the winter window is Liverpool. Reds boss Jurgen Klopp ruled out a move for the midfielder yesterday.
