Former Arsenal midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has sent a message to the Gooners that used to sing his name.

The Ox, who departed the Emirates for Liverpool for £35m in 2017, secured his first Champions League win with the Reds this past week.

The 2-0 victory against Liverpool means Spurs remain trophy-less for another season.

After victory in Madrid Oxlade-Chamberlain spoke to his former Arsenal team-mate Per Mertesacker, and sent a message to Gunners fans.

He told DAZN: “As former Gooners, we know what that one meant to all the Arsenal fans out there.

Oxlade-Chamberlain made 132 league appearances for Arsenal during 2011-2017
