Mesut Ozil was pivotal as Arsenal stretched their unbeaten run to 10 with a 3-1 victory over Leicester City on Monday night.

The German scored one, was influential in another and assisted Arsenal’s third to help move the Gunners back into the top four.

The Foxes dominated the first 30 minutes and should have gone into half-time leading.

However, with his finish to draw Arsenal level. Ozil made a bit of history with his goal as the Arsenal midfielder became the most prolific German in Premier League history.

It was the 30th goal of his Premier League career, earning him sole possession of the top spot of the scoring charts for Germans in league history.

The German turned provider for Aubameyang to keep up the momentum for Unai Emery’s stars.

Arsenal now have a tricky midweek clash with Sporting to navigate, before travelling to Crystal Palace on Sunday at Selhurst Park.
