Arsenal take on Manchester United at Old Trafford in a bid to consolidate their place in the Premier League’s top four.
Unai Emery’s side are in buoyant mood following the 4-2 comeback win over bitter rivals Tottenham on Sunday.
Unlike the Gunners, Jose Mourinho’s side are languishing in most areas of the pitch. Romelu Lukak is not firing
And according to Sky Sports pundit (via Express) and former Arsenal forward Paul Merson, the Gunners will maintain their recent good form by beating Manchester United on Wednesday.
United are currently struggling with a depleted defence. And for that reason he can see his former side coming away from Old Trafford with a 2-1 victory.
“Oh very much so (it’s must-win for United),” Merson said.
“What would it be (if they lost)? Probably about 11 points behind Arsenal in fourth.
“I’ve gone for Arsenal. I’ve watched Man United over the last few weeks and there is something massively missing, massively missing.
“When that game went 2-2 against Southampton, Man United (normally) just go on and win that game, you don’t think twice.
You would have to go back 12 years for the last time Arsenal took all three points at Old Trafford.
