Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is being chased by Manchester United in a staggering £70million deal, according to reports.

TalkSPORT host Andy Goldstein says a very reliable source claims Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is set to launch a first bid for the Gabon star, 29, to inject some raw pace to his team.

“I’ve got someone on the inside, who every so often would tell me transfer gossip,” Goldstein said. “I would say he’s got a quite high hit ratio… 75 to 25 per cent.

“He told me about Anthony Martial, which I tweeted two days before Man United even made their approach.

“He has told me United are interested in Aubameyang. He’s got two years left on his deal, is 30-years-old… he’s the finished article.

Aubameyang to Man Utd?

“United did something similar with [Robin] van Persie, and Romelu Lukaku is not doing it for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

“I think it’s crazy money for a 30-year-old… £70million first offer.”

Aubameyang was sensational for Arsenal in his full debut season in the Premier League. Alongside Player of the Season Alex Lacazette, the two combined to score 50 goals for the club in all competitions.

The Gabonese ace who recently turned 30, will be needed to give Arsenal a chance of a successful return to the Champions League next year.
