Arsenal got back on track over the weekend following three consecutive draws.

The Gunners beat Eddie Howe’s Bournemouth 3-1 at The Emirates with the help of to two Alexis Sanchez goals. The forward continued his scintillating form as he netted his ninth and tenth league strikes either side of half time.

Sanchez struck early after pouncing on a stray pass from Steve Cook gifting the forward an early goal. The Cherries got back into the game after Callum Wilson was brought down by Nacho Monreal in the penalty area. Wilson stepped up to slot the ball home and make it 1-1 at half time.

In the second period the Gunners dispatched Bournemouth with goals from Theo Walcott and Sanchez again. Arsene Wenger’s side had won in the Premier League for the first time since October 29.

After drawing three of their last four league games to fall six points behind leaders Chelsea, this was an important win for fourth-placed Arsenal, who are now unbeaten in their last 19 matches in all competitions and firmly in the title race.
