Arsenal are continuing to push for further additions this summer to join fellow new recruits Sead Kolasinac and Alexandre Lacazette in North London, though the next deal may not be as big as fans may expect.

The SunĀ suggests Manchester City are concerned talented young winger Jadon Sancho will leave to join Arsenal, as he stalls over a new three-year deal due to concerns that he’ll be unable to break his way into the first-team.

17-year-old Sancho has the likes of Leroy Sane, Raheem Sterling and Bernardo Silva ahead of him in Manchester City’s pecking order and he may have a better chance of breaking into the first-team with Arsenal- particularly if the Gunners lose Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Theo Walcott.

Arsenal have seen a wealth of talented youngsters force their way into the first-team picture in recent years, notably Hector Bellerin and Alex Iwobi, so Sancho will be aware there’s an opportunity for him if he thrives.

The Gunners face a wealth of competition for his services though, as Tottenham Hotspur, Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig are all said to be keen- with Spurs even trying to land Sancho as makeweight in the deal that took Kyle Walker to the Etihad Stadium.
