Ahead of today’s match at the Vitality Stadium versus AFC Bournemouth in the Premier League, which will be refereed by Michael Salisbury, we have done a Q&A with one of their supporters. Thank you to Tim for answering our questions!

How long have you supported AFC Bournemouth?

For the last 5 years since my son got interested in football.

What are your hopes and expectations for the 2023/24 season?

It has got to be a mid-table finish – we have some decent players now and the manager’s new philosophy once they have gelled well will work well I think.

What are your views on your manager?

Very pleased to have him. He did great in Spain and has really got us pressing and playing well.

Style of play and tactics – direct/passing/hybrid?

Hybrid.

One(s) to watch now and in the future?

Our left-back Kerkez – very impressed since he joined.

Random fact about your Club?

George Best made 5 appearances for us in the 1980s.

Which were your favourite and least favourite matches involving AFC Bournemouth?

My least favourite was last season v Liverpool. We lost by 9 goals!

The best match was Kieffer Moore’s goal v Nottingham Forest in 2022 which sealed promotion to the Premier League.

Which sides do you think will finish in the top four and which do you think will finish in the bottom three?

Man City, Arsenal, Liverpool and Spurs.

Luton Town, Burnley and Sheffield United.

What are your thoughts on Arsenal?

Great style of play and quality players. Very unlucky at the end of last season.

If you could steal one Arsenal player for your own team, who would it be and why?

Saka – bucket loads of quality.

What is your prediction for this match?

We have an issue scoring! I think Arsenal will win 2-0 as much as it pains me to say it!
