Juventus are signing a “great player” in Aaron Ramsey, according to AC Milan and Italy legend Franco Baresi.
Ramsey has already confirmed his Arsenal departure for the end of the season having already signed a pre-contract agreement with Juventus.
The midfielder will leave the Emirates after 11 years and over 250 appearances for the north Londoners which includes two FA Cup winning goals.
Baresi, who won three European Cups with Milan and a World Cup with Italy during his star-studded career, believes Ramsey will be a huge success for the Old Lady.
“I’ve seen him play. He’s obviously a great player,” he said (via BBC Sport).
“I think Juve has really landed a great coup there and I’m sure he’ll be able to adapt to Italian football.”
Ramsey had looked set to extend his stay at Arsenal, before the club left the contract negotiation table back in September.
The midfielder will be hoping to cap off his final season at the Emirates by delivering Europa League success in May.
