Arsenal fought back from a goal down to draw with Liverpool, but now find themselves out of the Premier League’s top four.

Alexandre Lacazette’s late equaliser extended the Gunners’ unbeaten run to 13 games.

Unai Emery’s side had fallen behind after James Milner’s drilled effort was too much for Bernd Leno.

In form striker Lacazette drew the north Londoners level eight minutes from time with a superb finish on the turn after he had taken the ball away from Liverpool keeper Alisson.

Despite Arsenal’s unbeaten run, questions remained asked about the credentials of Emery’s side. When faced against Premier League giants, the Gunners came up short with opening defeats to Manchester City and Chelsea.

Emery’s side still have much to do, but Saturday night proved improvements are being made.

Next up is Europa League action at home to Sporting Lisbon, before another home Premier League tie against Wolves.
