Arsenal were held to their 11th draw of the season after Sheffield United rescued a point at the Emirates.

Filling in for the suspended Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, youngster Gabriele Martinelli scored his second Premier League goal on the stroke of half-time after turning in Bukayo Saka’s deflected cross.

The Gunners lacked the killer instinct that Aubameyang possesses – after all, the Gabon international has netted 48% of all league goals this season.

Points are shared at the Emirates again

And United made them pay late on. John Fleck had plenty to do but controlled his 83rd minute strike nicely, hitting down into the deck and seeing the bounce carry the ball past the dive of Bernd Leno.

The Blades were in League One when Wilder took charge three-and-a-half years ago but are now in contention for European football after a fine start to the campaign.

Arsenal stay four points behind them in 10th, but are also nine adrift of Chelsea who occupy 4th place.

Yet another draw, Gooners… What are your thoughts?
