Arsenal came from a goal down to share the spoils with Bournemouth on a wet and windy Boxing Day clash.

The Gunners travelled to the south-coast under the stewardship of new boss Mikel Arteta.

And the Spaniard handed out starts to Reiss Nelson and Alexandre Lacazette, who led the line alongside captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Arteta hasn’t had long to implement a new philosophy, but there were signs within the opening minutes of the first half that Arsenal were more confident on the ball, more tenacious with the high press and more dangerous at the top end of the pitch, which users of the Black Type Coupon Code 2020 will need to bear in mind going forward.

Arteta takes a point from his first match in charge

Unfortunately, the Gunners are still sloppy at the back. As proved when Dan Gosling’s 35th minute strike gave the hosts the lead against the run of play.

Arteta stuck with his guns for the second-half and Arsenal found their equaliser through none other than Aubameyang who drew up his 14th of the season.

After some great work from Lacazette, Joe Willock then had a golden opportunity to give Arteta a debut win, but the midfielder’s tame effort was easily saved by ‘keeper Aaron Ramsdale.

Arsenal remain 11th in the Premier League.
