10-man Arsenal held on for a point against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored and saw red, but the Gunners held on to maintain a point.

Aubameyang put Mikel Arteta’s side in the lead in the 12th minute, which is unsurprising given at he had the shortest odds to score first, and Jordan Ayew scored the equaliser on 54 minutes with a deflected effort.

The Gabon international was initially booked for a mistimed challenge on Palace’s Max Meyer. However, VAR overturned the decision and Auba saw red to leave his teammates to play out half-an-hour a man down.

Roy Hodgson’s sides, but failed to convert. Meanwhile, Nicolas Pepe could have nicked it for the north Londoners, but his fizzing shot crashed against the post and Alex Lacazette could not tuck in the rebound.

The result leaves Arsenal 10th in the Premier League table at the moment, while Palace are currently a point above them in ninth place in the standings.
