Arsenal got back to winning ways in the Premier League thanks to a 2-1 victory over Huddersfield Town.

Unai Emery was hit by the absence of top scorer Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. The Gabon international had been suffering from illness over the weekend and was unable to recover in time for clash at the John Smith’s Stadium.

Fortunately, the Gunners have Alexandre Lacazette bang in form. The Frenchman notched up his 10th of the season not long after Alex Iwobi had put Arsenal in front.

The north Londoners had looked set to achieve their first clean sheet in fo, but a Sead Kolasinac own goal gave Huddersfield a small consolation.

Arsenal are up to 5th in the table, but remain one point behind Manchester United in the battle for 4th.

As for the Terriers – the Yorkshire club prop up the table and look a certainty to be in the Championship next season.
