Arsenal youngster Krystian Bielik is being eyed up for a loan move by League One side Charlton Athletic, according to reports at Football.london.

The versatile midfielder has struggled to make his mark at the Emirates since arriving from Polish club Legia Warsaw in January 2015.

Though still yet to make a appearance in the Premier League, those in the Arsenal camp have high hopes for the 20 year-old.

A series of injuries has hampered the youngster’s progress and he moved to Birmingham and Walsall on loan last season.

The reports suggests Chartlon boss Lee Bowyer is a fan and is ready to offer the versatile defender a chance to prove himself in the English game.

Bielik has recently been operating as a centre-half, but former Gunners boss Arsene Wenger believed his natural position would lie further ahead of the pitch as a defensive midfielder.

The youngster performed well during Arsenal under 23’s 6-5 defeat to Manchester City on Sunday and is now set to follow the likes of Francis Coquelin, Alex Song, Yaya Sanogo and Stephy Mavididi to the Valley.
