According to reports, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has agreed personal terms with Arsenal ahead of his proposed move.

The Borussia Dortmund striker emerged as a prime target for the Gunners who are looking for someone to replace Alexis Sanchez.

The Gunners would also like to bring in Brazilian winger Malcom from Bordeaux.

But Aubameyang is seen as the man to bring the good times back to the Emirates, with his strike rate over the years making him one of the deadliest hitmen in Europe.

Earlier reports today claimed Borussia Dortmund were disappointed by Wenger’s comments about Aubameyang in Thursday’s press conference.

There has been talk of Aubameyang arriving as part of an exchange deal with Olivier Giroud. However, RMC Sport claim the German side have now made it clear to Arsenal that any deal for the Frenchman should be entirely separate to that for Aubameyang and have categorically ruled out a part-exchange deal.

Dortmund are instead rumoured to be holding out for around £60m.
